Our staff of board certified pediatricians and certified pediatric nurse practitioners care for patients from infancy to adolescence to early adulthood. Our staff also includes IBCLC for nursing support and lactation visits. We encourage and invite expectant parents to attend our evening Get Acquainted sessions to discuss your newborn’s care and have your questions answered by one of our Pediatricians. As August is wrapping up, We are excited to announce that something exciting is on the horizon in early September.... the newest addition to the PHA family, Dr. Maha Haroon!!

Dr. Haroon grew up in Omaha, Nebraska, and has always wanted to care for children. She graduated Summa Cum Laude from Creighton University, where she was inducted into the Phi Beta Kappa honor society. She earned her medical degree from Creighton University School of Medicine.

Dr. Haroon went on to complete her pediatrics residency at the University of Nebraska Medical Center and Children’s Nebraska. Dr. Haroon values building lasting relationships with families and is especially focused on preventive care, wellness, and helping kids grow up healthy and thriving.

Outside of medicine, Dr. Haroon loves spending time with her husband and daughter. She enjoys attending Chicago Bulls games, traveling, cooking Pakistani food, and curling up with a good thriller novel.

She looks forward to meeting you and your families!

Happy mid-August PHA families! Sharing a fun update from the beginning of this month, the Lurie Children’s Hospital medical staff got to enjoy a summer social at Wrigley Field.
