Our community’s school Teachers & Staff work so hard to bring daily smiles, knowledge and inspiration to our children. We loved being able to gift them a little tool to keep them staying ‘cool’ during the carline in the Florida afternoon heat. Thank you to all the teachers & staff at Veterans Memorial Elementary for all you do for our children!

• UF College of Pharmacy Ownership Forum•
This weekend was one spent in good pharmacy company! We had the opportunity together with our new Team Pharmacist & Gator Grad, Dr. Dylan Clark and his wife, Clara to attend this inspiring forum.

The best of the best in the world of Independent and Community Pharmacy gathered together to help inspire, teach and share with the next generation of Pharmacy Students. Collectively in the room were the pioneers of small independent pharmacy to the newbies (like us!) sharing the grit, grind, dedication, passion, and love for their patients; how all that comes together in a perfect way to create their community’s pharmacy.

Dr. Norman together with his own mentors shared the stage on a speaker panel that talked about the hard work, long hours, changes and challenges in the industry, patient care and how they all wake up and do it everyday because of their love and commitment to their Patients.

Thank you to Dean Swaan, Dr. Gums, Dr. Curtis .curtis and the entire UF College of Pharmacy team for honoring us with a seat at this table!

Independent Community Pharmacy is alive and well…and growing!

A big CONGRATULATIONS to on being awarded the Outstanding Contribution Change Agent and Innovated Thinker Award for innovating a ‘game changing’ pharmacy app during his rotation at Uptown Chemist with Dr. Christian Ruff (a alum) as his preceptor. We were his test group and biggest cheerleaders.

As we prepare to ring in 2025, we want to thank each and every one of our Patients, Providers, family & friends who have supported Uptown Chemist in 2024. Without you, our mission of serving our community’s health & wellness would not be possible!

We set a big goal this year to grow our services and are so excited to share with you all in 2025 as we are on the final stretch to completing that goal…stay tuned!
