💚 As this year comes to a close, I find myself reflecting with such a full and grateful heart. I am endlessly thankful for our incredible team of clinicians here at Ellie—humans who show up every day with compassion, authenticity, determination, humor, acceptance, and creativity. The work you do is not easy, and the way you collaborate and hold yourself to such a high level of accountability in how you show up and hold space for others is beyond inspiring.

I’m also deeply grateful for each of our clients. Thank you for trusting us with your stories, your growth, and your healing. It is an honor to walk alongside you and to witness your courage, determination, and resilience.

This year has reminded me that meaningful work is built on connection, trust, and humanity. I’m so thankful to be part of a community rooted in all three, impacting each other in such meaningful ways.

This month, Shelby led our team in a grounding breathwork session with a gentle reminder: even in the busiest seasons, slowing down matters. These breathwork sessions are a heartfelt moment of self-care we offer our Ellie family — a dedicated space to pause, reset, and simply breathe. 🌿

Our team pours so much care, presence, and energy into others every day. Breathwork is one of the ways we pour that care right back into our people. For grounding. For connection. For a few well-deserved minutes of calm in the middle of full calendars and full hearts. 💚

We’re excited to welcome Kathy as our new Office Manager/Biller. Kathy brings over 25 years of experience in practice management and billing, along with a lifelong background in the medical field. Her knowledge, organization, and dedication are a wonderful addition to our team.

Outside of work, Kathy is married with three children and is joyfully awaiting her very first grandchild this Christmas — such a special season! 🎄✨ She loves staying active, exercising, and enjoying live music and concerts whenever she can.

🎂 Cassidy
Cassidy is a Registered Mental Health Counseling Intern with a gift for helping children and young adults feel safe, supported, and truly seen. With experience working with ages 2 to 25, she brings warmth, skill, and a passion for healing into every session. She blends CBT, mindfulness, solution-focused strategies, and person-centered care to help her clients grow and thrive. Outside the office, you’ll find her adventuring with her family, writing, exploring new experiences — and even creating gorgeous custom lash sets! ✨💚

We're celebrating our leader Jen! Her leadership, compassion, and dedication shape the heart of our Ellie Mental Health – Southwest Florida clinics. Jen pours her energy into building supportive, mission-driven environments where therapists can shine and clients feel cared for. Her vision and heart are a huge part of what makes our Ellie community so special. 💚🌿

🎂 Sandra
Sandra is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with deep experience supporting children, teens, and adults through challenges like ADHD, anxiety, depression, PTSD, and relationship stress. She blends play therapy, sand tray, art, Parent-Child Interaction Therapy, and evidence-based modalities like ACT, CBT, and solution-focused work to meet clients where they are. Outside the office, Sandra is grounded by her faith and joyfully surrounded by her four children, three grandchildren, her husband, and two English Cream Golden Retrievers. We’re so grateful to have her warmth, wisdom, and heart on our team. 💚✨

Watching our team laugh, relax, and truly let loose was exactly what we wanted last night to be. Our Ellie team holiday party was more than a celebration; it was a chance to give back to the people who give so much of themselves every day. 💚 We see how deeply you show up for your clients… how much heart you pour into the work… how committed you are to healing, support, and compassion. And last night, we got to pour a little of that right back into you. 💚✨
