To raise awareness of the hospice philosophy of care. The Hospeace House is located just outside the village in Naples, NY. Hospeace House, Inc.

Our Mission - To provide a warm, respectful environment meeting the physical, spiritual and emotional needs of those facing the end of life as well as their families. Since opening its doors in 2003, our home has supported hundreds of individuals and their families during their end-of-life journey. Hospeace House is a peaceful sanctuary in a comfortable, home with two bedrooms, a quaint living room area, complete kitchen facilities and a wrap-around deck all situated in a serene setting nestled in the hills of the Finger Lakes. As a unique feature, our second floor guest accommodations include two bedrooms, a full kitchen, living area, and private bathroom which is available at no charge to family members and our residents' guests. Trained volunteers, staff and Spiritual Care Providers provide 24-hour comfort care, all of whom work collaboratively to support the emotional, physical and spiritual needs of each resident and their families. is a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) corporation.

Hospeace House is urgently looking for a local contractor or experienced carpenter who could stop by soon to assess a section of our deck and help install temporary supports underneath.

Our back deck (about 1,400 sq ft) is very important to the House. It allows residents to be wheeled outside in beds or wheelchairs to enjoy the yard and it is also the primary entrance when residents arrive by gurney and when funeral homes assist with departures.

There is a small section (about 50 sq ft) that needs reinforcement while we begin the process of replacing the entire deck.

This is not a request for donated services. We’re simply hoping to connect with someone local who could take a look soon.

It’s about protecting ordinary moments in the middle of extraordinary circumstances.

A child coloring.

A quiet conversation.

A touch across the table.

Comfort care eases pain, yes — but it also preserves dignity, normalcy, and connection.

Because even at the end of life, there is still color.

There is still love.

A heartfelt thank you to the generous seniors who participate in the monthly community luncheon hosted by the Naples Council of Churches. These gatherings are a wonderful example of neighbors supporting neighbors. Donations from the luncheon have been received by Hospeace House with much gratitude. It is because of you and our community that we can continue our mission in the care of those facing end of life and their loved ones. Because of our current Wildflower Foundation Challenge, every dollar donated will be doubled, making your contribution even more meaningful! Bless you all!

January 25th snow storm! THANK YOU!!
Volunteers Brad Reigelsberger and his wife came out in frigid temps last night and again this morning to clear a foot of snow from the walkways!
John Caves came first thing this morning to clear the driveway.
