Kappa Alpha Theta was founded in 1870 as the first Greek-letter fraternity for women. Our purpose is to support members to learn, grow, and excel, and our core values are personal excellence, friendship/sisterhood, scholarship, service, and leadership.

Seven sisters gathered today at Food & Thought2 to review “The Frozen River” a historical fiction novel about mid-wives in the late 1700’s. Great discussion!

Next book club is April 30, with location to be announced. Our next book is “The Briar Club” by Kate Quinn.

We had a great discussion of The Women by Kristin Hannah today. Angelic Desserts was fabulous and we had great tables outside!

It’s a wrap! 155 years of Kappa Alpha Theta celebrated today! 31 Chapters recognized during the roll call! Milestones celebrated for 50 and 75 year sisters! Our four founders honored! Past Chapter presidents recognized! Congratulations all and thanks to Mary Lynn Myers, 2025 Founder’s Day Chair.

Forty plus Thetas and their spouses/significant others, celebrated the Holiday Season last evening! The Club at Olde Cypress did an amazing job with food, decorations and table centerpieces and the club staff were attentive and fun! Thank you Craig and Amber for hosting!
