Our team, comprised of board-certified neurologists/neurosurgeons and highly trained support staff in a specialized hospital environment, will work closely with your primary care veterinarian to provide unparalleled care to your companion. We will work with you, the pet owner, to ensure your pet’s neurological disease is clearly explained and the associated treatment options are thoroughly discussed. Every day we strive to make a positive difference in pets’ and pet parents’ lives. The SCAN Team recognizes that each pet and pet owner have an individual set of circumstances that can and should be the driving force in veterinary-related decision-making. For most of our clients, their beloved pet is also their family member, thus we will strive to provide pet owners with as much information as possible and counsel them to make appropriate, sometimes difficult, decisions about what type of treatment will be the best for their pet. Compassion will be the underlying theme in all of our diagnostic and therapeutic recommendations.

Meet Ginger, the sweetest shadow you’ll ever meet! 🐶

Here are a few fun facts about this cuddly girl:
🍲 Favorite food: Pro Plan canned food (but she’ll sneak a cookie or a nibble of the cat’s food if given the chance 😋)
🏃‍♀️ Favorite activity: Chasing her family back and forth through the house
🐾 Favorite person: Her mom... she follows her everywhere like a loyal little shadow
🏊‍♀️ Most memorable moment: The day Ginger accidentally wandered into the lake… and started swimming without even realizing it! Once she noticed, she swam right back out like a pro.

Ginger is endlessly cuddly, loyal, and full of love, and that’s what makes her so special. 💜
