Several of our Team members recently had the wonderful opportunity to attend the FRLA (Florida Restaurant & Lodging Association) Summit in Ft. Lauderdale. We kicked off our experience with a visit to Halpern's Steak & Seafood, a valued vendor for the Club, where we enjoyed an insightful tour of their facility. We sampled their exceptional steak and seafood offerings as we gear up for our new menus launching in October.

Following our visit to Halpern's, we dove into the Summit, participating in breakout education sessions that focused on hospitality trends, enhancing guest experiences, leveraging AI in today’s business, operational efficiency, and leadership development. These sessions sparked great conversations within our team about how we can apply what we learned here at the Club.

We were especially inspired by two of the featured keynote speakers—Don Yaeger, whose words resonated deeply with our team, and Tim Tebow, whose closing session was both powerful and moving. His message truly hit home for all of us.

Fun fact: our very own General Manager, Denise Murphy, proudly serves on the FRLA Council, representing The Players Club & Spa at the state level.

As we prepare for the season ahead, we’re energized by these new insights and excited to continue delivering extraordinary experiences for our members and guests!

We explored Ketchikan, Juneau, Sitka, Skagway, and the stunning Hubbard Glacier — with adventures ranging from whale watching and kayaking to helicopter rides over glaciers. 🚁🛶🐋
