Americans, who are only5% of the world's population, swallow 50% of the world's pharmaceuticals, and 80% of all prescription pain-killers!!!!!
Please read it again!!! Unbelievable! But...it is a fact.

Why is this? What are we doing wrong? How it happens? How to change it? What to do?
Because of the way we live today, chronic inflammation occurs in almost all adults and increasing numbers of teenagers.
But you can ask: "Ok,but what is inflammation?
There are acute inflammation and chronic inflammation.
Acute inflammation is a rapid response of a tissue to injury, by changes in the microcirculation: exudation of fluid and emigration of leukocytes (white blood cells) from blood vessels to the area of injury. Pain, redness, swelling, heat and immobility can happen. This part is important to understand later, what is happening when an artery is clogged. It is clogged by the plaques builds up in the walls of blood vessels.
Chronic inflammation is a bad thing. It smoulders on for years. This causes the slow destruction of tissues in the heart, brain, cartilage, bones or anywhere in the body, which eventually surface as a degenerative disease. It is a very complex process, happening on the cellular level. It has two phases. The first phase, largely determined by the ratio of the different types of fatty acids in the membranes of your cells, which reflect the proportion of these fatty acids in the diet. Simply, what kind of fat you consume. There are pro-inflammatory and anti-inflammatory compounds. Th Omega 3 fatty acids from seafoods (fatty fishes, alge) break down into anti-inflammatory messengers, while Omega 6 fatty acids (derived from plant oils) break down into pro-inflammatory messengers. The omega 6 breakdown products attract a range of immune cells to the affected area, and cause local oedema. This activates the second phase of inflammazone by triggering the release of exsosomes, small vesicles which contain highly destructive enzymes called Matrix Metalloproteases (MMP's). These enzymes causes tissue damage in the form of heart disease, cancer, diabetes, arthritis, Alzheimer, and other chronic diseases. By the time we got to the doctors, these damages are already done.
Chronic inflammation is reversible on the cellular level!
How?
With diet rich in omega 3 fatty acids, polyphenols and 1-3, 1-6 beta glucans, natural anti-inflammatory compounds that provided extensive protection against chronic inflammation.
