These forward thinking individuals came together for the purpose of networking with others in an effort to promote their goods and services with hopes of generating business referrals from their peers. This original concept is alive today and continued through our organizations activities. A networking luncheon is held on the second Tuesday of every month at rotating member host locations. Althoug

h the meetings are free to members, nominal annual dues are collected from member agencies to cover the administrative costs of Council business. A 50/50 raffle at each meeting raises funds for biannual scholarships awarded to local applicants pursuing degrees in health and human service related fields. And although our primary interest is in networking with other members, most meetings include a program presentation by a guest speaker. Finally, Interagency participates in multiple philanthropic activities throughout the year. A committee chooses the benefactors and contents of donations annually.
