Meet Fran L., one of the incredible volunteers at HSS at NCH. Fran has called Naples home for over 25 years, following a remarkable 33-year career as an educator in Hoboken, New Jersey.

A lifelong lover of singing, dancing, and acting, Fran’s story even includes appearances on the children’s TV show Star Time with Connie Francis — and yes, she once twisted alongside Chubby Checker!

Jeffrey Stimac, MD, Adult Reconstruction & Joint Replacement Hip & Knee Surgeon at HSS at NCH.

Dr. Stimac earned his medical degree at Tulane School of Medicine in New Orleans, LA. He completed his orthopedic surgery residency training at the University of Louisville in Louisville, Kentucky, and his fellowship training in Adult Reconstruction at Hospital for Special Surgery, in New York, New York. Dr. Stimac is board-certified in orthopedic surgery and has expertise in treating arthritis, knee replacement, and hip replacement.

Dr. Stimac is happily married and enjoys spending quality time with his daughter. In his free time, he is passionate about travel, boating, and golf.
