I’m honored to share a recent publication in Psychiatric Services stemming from my previous work with the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs Veterans Crisis Line Research & Development team.

While I was not the lead architect of this paper, I had the opportunity to learn from experts in crisis line and su***de prevention research and to contribute in a supporting role to a much larger effort.

This study examines key outcomes around crisis line contacts including who reaches out & how services are used. It contributes to a deeper evidence base on crisis line effectiveness, contact patterns, and implications for broader su***de prevention efforts.

Grateful to have learned from experts in this field and to have contributed to the growing knowledge base in su***de prevention. That experience shaped how I think about systems, data, and the real-world impact of evidence-based crisis care.
