This is with understanding inflammation, gut health, cortisol (stress response), AND nutrition (blood sugar). We have to treat it as a whole!🌿

All that movement—walking, workouts, sports—your muscles need protein and energy to keep up. Without it, you’re running on empty.

Fuel your body right so it can show up for you every day.

How do YOU FUEL? Is it meditation, beach walks, therapy appointments, walking, strength training, fueling with friends at a coffee shop? It all Matters. 🌿

Just keeping it fun and getting them used to moving their bodies every day. This is how we build healthy habits—one playful moment at a time.

Your kids watch you. They listen to you. They feed off of you.

Stella June picks up on all of it - her sassy comments come from one of us (mom, dad, grandmothers, grandfathers, cousins). She catches on and uses it (positively or negatively). With that, they also pick up on our self talk, our habits, our goals, and our standards. We have to be the best example by treating ourselves.

So often as parents, we do what is best for the kids - we have them in every sport, we feed them the best meals, we get them the best coaches and tutors… then here we are wondering why we are drowning because we haven’t even considered getting ourselves a coach (therapist, trainer, life coach), prepping our own meals, giving ourselves snacks, organizing our own closets, making our own beds, spending time exercising or with our loves ones —

Hello. We have to be the basis of health for our family to be healthy. Be the example for yourself and you will create the priorities for YOU, YOUR FAMILY, and YOUR QUALITY of Life WITH THEM.

Health is more than the number on the scale. 🌿

This World Health Day, remember—true health is about how you feel, how you move, your energy, your mindset, and your overall well-being.

We tell our clients - 1. stop weighing yourself every day. 2. We need to focus on more than just the number - we need to see the body composition. 3. More than the scale, what do your numbers say about your internal health?

The number on the scale doesn’t tell all - whether it is a good number or a not so good number, it isn’t the picture of your health. You need to be looking internally.

Separately from that - we are looking at lifestyle, habits, and quality. Not the number. The quality of your life spent with your loved ones and you – yourself – yes, the quality inside of you.

Focus on building habits that support your whole body, not just the scale. 💛
