Your kids watch you. They listen to you. They feed off of you.
Stella June picks up on all of it - her sassy comments come from one of us (mom, dad, grandmothers, grandfathers, cousins). She catches on and uses it (positively or negatively). With that, they also pick up on our self talk, our habits, our goals, and our standards. We have to be the best example by treating ourselves.
So often as parents, we do what is best for the kids - we have them in every sport, we feed them the best meals, we get them the best coaches and tutors⌠then here we are wondering why we are drowning because we havenât even considered getting ourselves a coach (therapist, trainer, life coach), prepping our own meals, giving ourselves snacks, organizing our own closets, making our own beds, spending time exercising or with our loves ones â
Hello. We have to be the basis of health for our family to be healthy. Be the example for yourself and you will create the priorities for YOU, YOUR FAMILY, and YOUR QUALITY of Life WITH THEM.
