Summer 2025 — sitting in drafts. Along with a lot of philosophical thoughts that surfaced… 🐬🌞🌊
I’ve always been a dreamer. But I’ve learned that when you go after one dream, it often comes at the cost of another. I believe you can have it all—just not all at once.
Throughout my life I’ve often faced opportunity costs. I try to see them as signs that I’m pursuing what I truly love. What a privilege it is to even have those choices.
In 2014 I moved to the eternal summer land of Florida with the dream of teaching yoga on the beach… and I did. Love you and those who have participated throughout the years. 🧘♀️
What I haven’t shared with many people is what that decision cost me. That choice shaped the life I’m living now—not the life that could have been. Because in truth, there is no “what could have been.” If it were meant to happen, it would have.
Life took me away for a while, but the universe made me so uncomfortable to move again, and somehow Florida was still waiting for me. ❤️
I came back, built a life with a hardworking man who is my safe space, and created the coastal family and lifestyle I always envisioned. 🧿
I’m so grateful for it all.
But everything you see someone has comes with sacrifice. The more I lean into what I love, the more challenges and choices appear—but the more joy shows up too.
They say nothing worth having comes easy.
…but it’s worth it.
If there’s something on your heart, I hope you go after it.
Don’t get distracted by the shiny things others are doing. Find your callings so you can create authentically and fulfill your purpose.
Comparison is the thief and distraction of joy. ✨
Lean into what you truly want, accept the sacrifices that come with it, and make the most of the season you’re in.
