You may have heard about the benefits of gratitude. Remembering gratitude in your daily life feels good to us and reminds us of all that is well and right in our life. But why does it feel good? When we are thinking positive thoughts about ourselves and factors in our life that are working well, it is activating the dopamine and serotonin pathways in our brain. This in turn lowers our stress levels, helps us sleep better and boosts our immune system. Daily gratitude trains your brain to focus on what’s going well and this in turn becomes a pathway and habit towards a healthier mindset. A healthier mindset leads you to a healthier body.

Want to bring in more gratitude in your life? Incorporate it into your prayers. Add it into a daily journal. Remind yourself during meditation. Tell yourself out loud at any time. Leave yourself notes where you’ll see them everyday. 🌸
