Our hearts and prayers are with those who were greatly affected by Hurricane Ian. Thankfully our office did not sustain damage and power, phones, and internet have been restored. We have resumed normal operating hours, and our phone lines are ringing off the hook. Please be patient with our staff as we work to respond to messages, provide refills on medications, and continue to provide the same great service you have come to expect from Dr. Mendez and the staff at Elite Kidney Care.

Interesting information on how many people out there have CKD according to their labs run by their physicians, while those same physicians might never put Chronic Kidney Disease as a diagnosis nor tell the patient.

So are the indicators being ignored? And what if you knew early and could slow the progress of the disease so you could avoid kidney failure and dialysis? Are you walking around NOT knowing you have kidney disease? The early stages are most often asymptomatic.

Today is National Florida day!! This day was established to recognize Florida’s arrival as the 27th state in the union.
We love our State and apparently so does thousands of others, as approximately 1000 people a day move to the Sunshine State.
Of course, the best part of Florida is right here in Southwest Florida, NAPLES.
So to all our northern friends who shoveled snow this morning, we will just be over here with our sun, sand and surf celebrating our great State ☀️🕶
