It means: follow that thought.
See where it leads.
Notice what comes up next — naturally.

Your brain already knows how to move toward healing.
The goal is to let it desensitize and reprocess without interruption.

Sometimes a therapist will gently guide the process with a cognitive interweave to keep things productive.

But you are always in control.

Diversity isn’t something we politely “acknowledge.”
It’s something we honor. We learn from. We celebrate.

Saying “I don’t see race” or “I don’t see gender” isn’t unity — it erases lived experience. It dismisses culture, history, resilience, and the very real barriers people navigate every day.

Real inclusion says:
I see you.
I respect your story.
I value what makes you different.

Celebrating diversity means we don’t flatten differences to feel comfortable — we expand ourselves to make room for them.

If we want connection, equity, and growth… we have to move beyond being colorblind and start being culturally aware. ***rvibes

Scanning the environment, (also known as hyper-vigilance) is a classic trait of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. It’s commonly experienced as being aware of exits, assessing people as potential of risks, and replaying past memories as templates for possible triggers.
