Earlier this month we had a client bring in a Gopher Tortoise (he was nervous his dogs may harm him). The tortoise was safely brought to the Conservancy of Southwest Florida where they will provide rehab if needed but will ultimately release him back to his normal habitat. They did tell us that this guy was very mature and an elder tortoise. We were all very excited to see this guy and have named him Tom the Tortoise 🐢
