Your heart shouldn’t beat perfectly.

In fact, a healthy heart varies slightly from beat to beat. This variation is called Heart Rate Variability (HRV), and it tells us something incredibly important: how well your nervous system is functioning.

High HRV reflects resilience. It means your body can shift between stress and recovery smoothly.
Low HRV suggests your system may be stuck in fight-or-flight — even if your blood pressure and cholesterol look normal.

Research shows low HRV is associated with a 32–45% increased risk of cardiovascular disease. Even more importantly, HRV often declines before symptoms or lab values become abnormal.

That means it can serve as an early warning sign.

HRV also reflects:
• Sleep quality
• Inflammation levels
• Emotional stress
• Blood sugar stability
• Nervous system regulation
