Hi my name is OFRIT - so nice to meet you. I am the founder and CEO of Yoga@Play. Here are some fun facts about me ❤️

🇮🇱 I was born in Israel and speak Hebrew, English, Spanish, and a little French — enough to order dessert anywhere.

🧠 One of my first jobs was translating soap opera subtitles into Hebrew… so yes, I know every dramatic pause in Spanish TV history.

🇦🇷 My dad was from Argentina, so it’s no surprise that steak is my all-time favorite food.

🥑 I also LOVE sushi and avocados — my perfect balance of light and indulgent.

🚿 I take hot–cold contrast showers every morning. It’s my first challenge of the day — and my secret for waking up mind, body, and soul.

🏓 I love ping pong — it totally brings out my competitive side. Still the household champion… though my 15-year-old is determined to change that. 😉

💙 My favorite color is blue — it makes me feel calm, open, and alive.

🚫 I don’t like cucumber in my water (some things just don’t belong together 😄).

🪑 I love teaching Chair Yoga to seniors — it’s the perfect balance of the playfulness of kids and the gratefulness of adults.

💛 Discovering my gift to teach kids yoga and mindfulness was never part of the plan — it was something life quietly led me to, and once I started, I never looked back.

Wyatt has a gentle and inspiring way of helping children understand and release the grungies — those heavy or uncomfortable emotions we all feel from time to time 🤍

Through compassion and play, he teaches that every feeling deserves understanding, not judgment ❤️

🎃 Perfectly Imperfect Pumpkins 🎃

This jack-o’-lantern was meant to be a clown… but as you can see, sometimes our plans take a different turn 😅

And that’s okay. Mistakes happen — especially for kids — and that’s how they learn. As adults, it’s our job to lead by example: to show them that love, empathy, and curiosity matter more than perfection.

When we embrace their “oops” moments with care instead of criticism, we teach them that it’s safe to try, to grow, and to shine in their own way.

Here’s to celebrating the wobbly smiles, the uneven eyes, and every beautiful imperfection that makes life real. 💛

We absolutely LOVE having Meddy Teddy in the studio — our wise little friend who always reminds us to slow down, breathe, and be present. 🧘‍♂️💛

His spontaneous moments of pause, reflection, and silence bring so much calm and joy to our space. Whether he’s hanging out in a hammock or joining us on the mat, Meddy helps our yogis — big and small — remember that stillness is just as powerful as movement. 🌿
