I’m up at for our Prana Rising retreat. This place is magical. Open space, fresh air, fewer distractions, more time to just be. Something changes from within when you step out of your routine and realize this is right where you belong.

This weekend is all about time in nature as a way of replenishing yourself. We’ll hike, we’ll do yoga, we’ll eat nourishing whole foods, and we’ll slow down.

I’ve already planned our next retreat, this fall, November 7-9. I’ll be joined by for a weekend of slow-flow, yin and restorative yoga, accompanied by soothing sound baths. Registration is open. I hope you’ll join us!

Hey everyone, meet Kiera, one of the teachers here at the Yoga Garden! Any of you who know her are probably used to seeing her gracefully moving from back bends to arm balances to inversions, and effortlessly back down to earth! But she’s also a serious student of yoga! She just completed her advanced training certification (Go, Kiera!) and will be co-teaching once again in our 200-hr. Teacher Training, starting in January.

If you’re curious about teaching or just looking to deepen your knowledge of yoga, I hope you’ll come to our FREE Info Session on Sunday, July 20 at 12:30! (And if you register for the training before July 31, you’ll save $200!

The largest muscles in your body are in your hips and thighs. When those muscles are tight, rigid, or weak, they affect your whole-body mobility.

Let’s develop muscles that are both strong and supple with a combination of deep stretching and functional movement. We’ll talk about how to avoid common injuries such as torn hamstrings while increasing your freedom of movement.

Whether you’re working toward a perfect split or struggling to touch your toes, this workshop has something for everyone.

VINYASA WORKSHOP! This Saturday!

If you’re looking to move smoothly through your vinyasa practice, jumping forward lightly, jumping back softly, and easing the transitions between poses, this is your workshop!

This Saturday from 2:00-4:30, we’ll break down all the elements of a flowing vinyasa practice. We’ll look at balance and shifting your center, exercises for building strength and flexibility, and of course, how to float gracefully from one pose to the next.

There will be lots of interactive partner work, time for questions, warm-up exercises and tips for continuing your progress on your own.
