We want you to know that we don't have a long list of rules - just a lengthy record of happy moms and healthy newborns.

We are excited to share a new comfort-forward option for our Labor and Delivery patients - our new Labor/Hydrotherapy Tub. We blessed this tub earlier today.

Some benefits to laboring in water can include pain reduction, freedom of movement, and a decrease in maternal stress.

It is one more way we are expanding supportive, personalized care for our moms and families - right here at The Birth Center of Nashua at St. Joseph Hospital.

Yesterday, we celebrated our February Mission Champion, Marc Bechard. Marc is our patient transporter at St. Joseph Hospital and averages over 20k steps a day here at the hospital.

Congratulations Marc for all that you do and thank you for all the hard work you put in every single day.

For 15 years, the Pink Ride has brought this community together with one powerful purpose - supporting breast care close to home. We are deeply grateful to share that more than $250,000 has been raised through this incredible one-hour snowmobile ride to benefit the Breast Care Center at St. Joseph Hospital.

Thank you to the Nor Easter’s Snowmobile Club, and special thanks to Amos White, Joe Vallier, and Sue Keough for your leadership, heart, and commitment to this mission year after year. We are proud to stand with you - and grateful for 15 years of generosity in motion. 💗

Congratulations to Transporter for Patient Care Services, Marc Bechard - our February 2026 Mission Champion!

Marc began his journey at St. Joseph Hospital in 2019 working in the OR as a Unit Assistant for Anesthesia. Marc says he likes knowing that he is helping, especially when a department is extremely busy and he can help to make things run more efficiently. One of the highlights of his day is seeing people and patients in the halls that he has transported before and then recognize him. Who could forget that beard!

Due to the weather forecasted, and out of concern for the safety of our patients and staff, all St. Joseph Hospital primary care and specialty care clinics, outpatient therapy practices, and the Breast Care Center will be opening at 12pm on Monday.

* Milford Medical Centers including Urgent Care is now closed and will reopen at 12:00 pm on Monday.

The main hospital is operating with regular hours.

For more than 40 years, Dr. Wasserman dedicated his life to caring for women and welcoming new life into the world at St. Joseph Hospital in Nashua. He helped deliver thousands of babies, but his impact went far beyond the delivery room. He brought calm in moments of fear, joy in moments of anticipation, and compassion to every patient and family he touched.

Thank you, Dr. Wasserman, for everything. Your impact is immeasurable, and you will always be part of the St. Joseph Hospital family. Wishing you a retirement filled with joy, health, and the same warmth you gave so freely to others.

The midwifery practice at St Joseph Hospital had a record breaking 2025 year with 254 deliveries! Our robust midwifery practice consisting of 8 midwives provides 24/7 coverage for those desiring midwifery care during their pregnancy, labor, birth & postpartum along with providing full scope gynecologic care in the office setting. Come and experience the difference with our midwives who truly get to know you throughout your pregnancy and attend your birth.

We look forward to caring for our new and existing families that are looking for a more personal, patient centered approach to their care in 2026!

Kayla and Thomas welcomed baby girl Dorothea on January 1st at 11:20 pm, taking the honor of the first baby for St Joe's Hospital. Please join us in sending congratulations to the parents and a warm welcome to baby girl Dorothea .
