POV you're a mama in the thick of postpartum trying to squeeze in your yoga practice during nap time.

Your yoga space looks a bit different than it used to. Your fellow students are replaced with Pokemon plushies, a toddler fast asleep upstairs, and a baby snoozing in their bassinet beside you.

Your yoga gear is now an old pair of spandex biker shorts and your trusty comfy nursing bra, because why bother putting on an actual shirt when you're feeding your little b**b barnacle multiple times a day.. and you're bound to get spit up on too. 😅

Your hair went from a cute messy bun, to the messiest of all buns. An understatement.

Child's pose brings new comfort to your ever changing, sometimes foreign feeling, body. Grounding, and taking time to reconnect with not JUST your body, but your breath, mat, and mind as well.

It's not ✨ aesthetic ✨ in the traditional sense, but beautiful in its own right and marks a meaningful chapter of your life. One in which, despite it sometimes being challenging and unglamorous, you are more than happy to experience.

And in this moment, you are just as grateful for your practice as you've ever been, if not more so, in this new season of life.

Just a reminder that prenatal yoga has moved to Monday night at 530 pm at ! We have 4 more classes left on the schedule, including tonight. After that, we will play it be ear until baby girl makes her arrival! Join me in these final weeks of teaching and let's prep our bodies for the challenges of pregnancy, as well as delivery and those early postpartum days.

Join me for my last Yoga 101 series before maternity leave!

Whether you are a total beginner or looking to restart your yoga practice, this 6 week course will teach you the fundamentals of yoga in a safe and supportive environment. Over the course of 6 weeks we will be breaking down proper alignment, how to modify postures to work for your unique body and how to connect movement with your breath. You will complete this series ready to confidently step into any yoga class.

Yoga 101 will be held on Monday evenings from 5:30 - 6:30PM on March 3rd, 10th, 17th, 24th, 31st & April 7th

Yoga 101 includes unlimited yoga at both Vibe Yoga and Aerial Moon for the duration of the series (excluding workshops and advanced Aerial classes).

As I continue on this pregnancy journey, I have decided to adjust my class offerings. Though Baby and Me yoga is one of my absolute favorite classes I have ever had the pleasure of teaching, it is the one that is coming to an end... for now.

Please join me this Friday 2/28 at 12:15 pm for Last Call BYOB (bring your own baby) Yoga. We will laugh, I might cry, but overall it will be a fun chaotic class as usual. I will miss this class so much. Stay tuned for a possible revival of BYOB yoga this fall.

CLASS DETAILS
This class is for moms (6 weeks out from vaginal birth, 8 weeks out from c-section) and their babies (newborns with good control of their head/neck up to crawling/mobile infants).

Baby & Me Yoga is offered with the intention to provide support to women in their postpartum period and to also continue to build the perinatal community. There will be a focus on connecting with your postpartum body as well as with your new baby. We will also focus on rebuilding the core as well as releasing tension from the body and mind.

-6 weeks out from vaginal birth, 8 weeks out from c-section as well as complete healing of any incisions or stitches and cessation of postpartum bleeding regardless of type of birth
-medically cleared to return to exercise by your healthcare provider
-bring a baby blanket
-feel free to feed, change, or console your baby at any time during the practice. This is a supportive environment for postpartum mothers.
-newborns with good control of their head/neck up to crawling/mobile infants.

I am not the same person I was 10, 5, or even 2 years ago. I have grown and changed so much over the years. Of course I still have my core characteristics and I'm still me, but life has truly taught me so much and has helped shape me into every version of myself that I have ever been, including the woman I am today. This has, at times, been very uncomfortable to transition through, and at other times, felt like coming home. Sometimes it has been very lonely, but many times I have been supported. At other times I craved solitude. Sometimes I was left wondering where I would fit in the world and in other people's lives. In the end, things seem to work out how they're supposed to and I'm able to look back with more clarity.

Every season of my life comes with it's own blessings and challenges, some more impactful than others, and I wouldn't change it for the world. Circumstances change. Relationships change. There are very little constants in life. I am just grateful for the path I'm on, those who have stuck by my side, all the lessons I've learned along the way, and all the women I was before.

Here's to navigating through this pregnancy with joy, my mom era, my yoga journey, growing my art and business, self discovery and growth, being the best me I can be, and to all of the chapters that are to come. I am ready.

I am so bummed that I'll be missing my last classes of the year today. I'm planning on resting up, recuperating, and starting the year fresh and healthy!

Starting next Monday, January 6th, Vibe's Yoga 101 series begins again. It's a great way to start your new year, to break down and learn about various yoga poses and modifications, to learn some breathing and meditation techniques to work into your practice or to help manage stress, to explore what other classes and teachers Vibe has to offer, and to maybe even connect with others in the community. The cost includes unlimited yoga at all 3 spaces for the duration of the series. This class is great for beginners and those looking to either restart their practices or to get back to basics.

I truly enjoy teaching this series so much and have seen many students fall in love with yoga and continue to deepen their practice. It's a beautiful thing to witness. Join me on Monday nights!

I'll be teaching a FREE prenatal yoga class at the Nashua Public Library this Saturday, Dec 7th at 10 am! This is a great opportunity to learn more about how yoga can help you during pregnancy and labor, as well as connect with your body, baby, and other expecting mothers. All trimesters welcome and no yoga experience necessary. No registration required. Please help me get the word out by sharing or tagging your pregnant friends and family. 🫶
