Banyan Tree Yoga Yoga for EveryBODY... In India, the Banyan tree is called a wish fulfilling tree. It is said that more than 10, 000 people can sit under its shade at one time.

It is a huge tree with very extensive branches which spread out and send trunk like roots to the ground in order to support itself. At Banyan Tree Yoga, this sacred tree is symbolic of the strong roots created through yoga. With a wide variety of classes to fit every age and ability, each individual's "roots" have room to grow throughout the stages of life. Our mission is to provide a sanctuary in which you can discover or enhance your yoga practice. The community built through yoga is a gift to the world. You can expect to find a relaxed atmosphere, with warm and caring instructors and like-minded individuals. We believe yoga should be a physical workout, relaxing, but also fun! Meet Daphna!

Daphna is a 500-hour E-RYT with over 2,000 hours of teaching experience. Her yoga journey began through a deep interest in holistic healing, inspired by Ayurveda, sound healing, Yin yoga, Reiki, somatic movement, and Thai bodywork.
She completed her 200-hour training in 2014 and her 300-hour training in 2024, and is currently working toward becoming a Yoga Therapist. Outside the studio, Daphna works as a social worker supporting individuals with mental illness and addiction, and enjoys hiking and skiing in her free time.

Beginning Friday, February 6th!!!

Baby & Me Postnatal Yoga is intentionally designed for postpartum mothers and newborns through 6 months, honoring the unique needs, rhythms, and bonding moments of this early season of life.
Feel free to feed, change, or console your baby at any time during the practice. This is a supportive environment for postpartum mothers. Bring a baby blanket.

GUIDELINES FOR PARTICIPATION:
- 4-6 weeks out from vaginal birth
- 6-8 weeks out from C-section as well as complete healing of any incisions or stitches.
- Cessation of postpartum bleeding regardless of type of birth.
- Medically cleared to return to exercise by your healthcare provider.
- This class is for newborns with good control of their head/neck up to crawling/mobile infants.

Meet Sam!!

Prenatal Yoga at 5:30 PM begins THIS FRIDAY with her!

Sam turned to yoga during a difficult time in her life, hoping to find healing through movement. She began her consistent in studio practice in 2021 and soon found that yoga’s benefits
reached across all aspects of her life holistically. She found healing, and so much more.

Yoga brought balance to her life while working a busy corporate job, at which time she realized another path lay ahead. Her mat and her practice became her sacred space. She decided to pursue yoga as her passion, with the intention to share this gift with her future students.

Sam is a certified yoga teacher through Humble Warrior Power Yoga’s 200 hour YTT program. She enjoys practicing and teaching many varieties of yoga, and leads classes that encourage students to feel strong and confident, while flowing to fun music. She is also skilled in offering modifications as well as ways to deepen poses, helping her students find balance between effort and ease. 

Sam earned her in depth prenatal yoga teacher certification through the Prenatal Yoga Center while pregnant with her first child, which was an incredibly special experience. She then went on to further her training and received her postnatal yoga teacher certification from the same prominent establishment. Serving the perinatal community felt like another calling and is a focus that she is thoroughly educated on, as well as deeply passionate about.

In just 10 days, on February 1st, is our first monthly Wisdom and Healing Circle with Kelsey!

This monthly 90-minute circle meets on or near the Full Moon, a powerful time for heightened awareness, emotional release, and intuitive connection. Guided by lunar wisdom, we gather in sacred space to explore intention setting, energetic healing, and soul-level insight through the Akashic Records.
Each circle offers an opportunity to pause, reflect, and release what no longer serves—while reconnecting with your inner guidance and the collective wisdom of community. Practices may include guided meditation, intuitive reflection, energetic clearing, and shared insights.

Meet Kelsey!

Kelsey is a yoga instructor, Reiki Master, and healing facilitator devoted to holding grounded, intentional space for inner coherence, clarity and embodied integration. Her professional journey began in 2017 with a 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training in Maui, Hawaii, where she established a strong foundation in embodied movement and mindful presence. 

She has since continued her education in  breathwork facilitation, intuitive Akashic record work, and Reiki, integrating these modalities through a grounded, client-centered approach. Kelsey’s work emphasizes clarity, discernment, and embodied insight, offering participants structured support for emotional processing, reflection, and personal alignment.

She remains a dedicated lifelong student, continually refining her skills and expanding her knowledge to thoughtfully serve her community.
