We need YOUR help! As we prepare for the winter season, we are looking for donations for the overnight warming station. We are able to accept any of the items listed in the graphic; however, we are unfortunately unable to accept the following donations due to safety reasons:

• Any items that require refrigeration
• Homemade baked goods
• Homemade meals
• Snacks that are not individually wrapped

We are also unable to accept any fiscal donations at this time. We can only accept donations in the form of the above-requested donation items.

🚨 Rabies Alert in Nashua 🚨

A bat recently captured around Ward 6 in Nashua has tested positive for rabies. While there’s no immediate threat to the community, residents are urged to use extra caution around wildlife.

🐾 Keep pets on a leash and supervised outdoors.
🚫 Never approach or feed wild animals.
⚠️ Watch for signs of rabies: unusual aggression, confusion, or “drunk-like” movement.

If you see an animal showing these behaviors, do not approach it. Contact Nashua Animal Control at 603-594-3500.

🚨 Rabies Alert in Nashua 🚨

In the last 2 months, Nashua has had 3 animals test positive for rabies, the most recent being a raccoon captured around Conant Road. While there’s no immediate threat to the community, all Nashua residents are urged to use extra caution around wildlife throughout the City.

🐾 Keep pets on a leash and supervised outdoors.
🚫 Never approach or feed wild animals.
⚠️ Watch for signs of rabies: unusual aggression, confusion, or “drunk-like” movement.

The Nashua Transit System (NTS) will provide a shuttle bus to and from Main St and Rivier University to transport people parked at Memorial Hall to the Winter Stroll. Please follow the signs and be respectful of everyone on board. The shuttle is free and runs from 4:00 to 9:30 PM.

United Way of Greater Nashua is seeking caring, dependable volunteers to support the Overnight Winter Warming Station at the former Elm Street Middle School. This safe, warm space provides shelter for individuals experiencing homelessness during the coldest nights of the year.

🕖 When: Daily overnight 2-hour shifts between 7:00 PM and 7:00 AM, from December 1 – April 15
📍 Where: Former Elm Street Middle School, Nashua

Volunteer duties include:
• Monitoring guest belongings
• Overseeing supplies
• Preparing refreshments
• Facilitating light activities for guests
