Our residents had a fantastic outing to the Millyard Museum in Manchester! They enjoyed exploring the city’s rich history and learning about Manchester’s fascinating mill heritage. Manchester Historic Association & Millyard Museum

After the museum, the group headed to The Puritan for a delicious lunch together. Great food and great company made it a wonderful day out!

We always appreciate feedback from our residents!

"When it became time for us to downsize, we knew we wanted a new home where we would be happy; a home that was comfortable, secure and most importantly, carefree. We wanted the freedom to come and go, we wanted activities that would keep our minds sharp and our bodies active; we wanted to be around people who are welcoming and friendly; and we wanted to be centrally located. All of these wants, plus many more, we found here at the Hunt Community where the residents, the staff, and the administration all work together for our mutual benefit. The community life here at the Hunt Community was by far the perfect decision for us."

We’ll be heading out for a breakfast trip filled with good food and conversation, taking a visit to the Millyard Museum to explore local history and culture, and celebrating St. Patrick’s Day with a festive happy hour. We’re so grateful when our residents share their experiences. Here is what Jane had to say:

"I loved living independently in my own home. After my husband passed, I was alone. I knew that was not a good idea, so I looked into Hunt at Home for my future needs and security. I took an active part in the offerings at the Hunt during Covid while still in my home. After Covid, I realized the advantages of living independently at Hunt Community in my own apartment. I didn’t have the worry of a house, cooking good meals, getting to various physical activities, enrichment classes and meeting new friends.
It wasn’t an easy decision but it has been the best decision for me."
