⚓️St. Augustine, Florida – a beautiful place and an important historical landmark where, nearly 460 years ago, Crypto-Jews masquerading as Spanish Catholics helped found the oldest continuously occupied European settlement in America. Their identities have been largely lost to history – until now.

On Thursday, August 10th at 12pm Central, join us on an unforgettable journey from Inquisition-torn Spain to the lush New World, from the first days of Florida’s first European colony to its colorful, complex legacy today. We’ll hear from Rabbi Merrill Shapiro, Founder of the St. Augustine Jewish Historical Society, on how the truth of Florida’s hidden Jews was uncovered, and what this history means to us now.
