For the month of July, we are recognizing Tania Funes Arguello as our employee spotlight. Tania joined the Harbor Care team a little over two years ago and serves as a Patient Services Representative. She is the first face that many see when they enter our Health & Wellness Center in downtown Nashua and simply radiates happiness when people walk in the door.

When she started here, her immediate goal was to learn new things and be helpful, however and wherever possible. During her time here, Tania developed knowledge of many different areas of Harbor Care, so as to be helpful with patients and clients. She has also become a Certified Community Health Worker.

Tania is the embodiment of a team player. She is the go-to for the dental team and in assisting with medical records. Tania can also be found daily at registration, assisting to cover lunches and does whatever she can to help out wherever she can. She does not hesitate to assist everyone who walks through the doors, whether they are there to ask questions about services, or they need help accessing those services. She listens to peoples’ needs and/or struggles they are facing and helps to direct them to the correct people and/or places. Her team at the clinic is beyond excited that Tania was selected as this month’s Employee Spotlight as they feel she represents all of the great values and ideals of Harbor Care.

Of all the skills and traits Tania brings to the table, the most valued is that she approaches every situation with kindness and compassion. She strives to never make anyone feel as though their needs are less than anyone else’s, no matter how big or small the need may be. The next time you visit the clinic at 45 High St., please take the time to stop by and say hello. Tania, thank you for all you do and for being a truly remarkable human! Big news for NH Veterans: Harbor Care just received a $200,000 Homeless Veterans Reintegration Program grant from the U.S. Department of Labor's Veterans' Employment and Training Service to support our statewide Veteran Employment Services. This aid helps homeless veterans, and those at risk of homelessness, get back to work — with training, housing, healthcare, and job placement.

Since 2008, we’ve helped over 1,100 veterans find meaningful employment. This year, we’ll serve at least 90 more. Learn more: https://zurl.co/IQlGl. Shout-out to HVRP Program Manager Andrea May and her team!

We’ve very happy to recognize Kari Salema as our Employee Spotlight for June. Since joining Harbor Care in April of 2016, Kari has been a cornerstone of excellence within our Recovery Court program. Over the years, she has distinguished herself as a gifted therapist and fierce advocate, known for blending creativity, persistence, and deep compassion in her work with clients.

Kari’s impact is felt far and wide—respected by peers, trusted by colleagues, and valued by community partners, she exemplifies the values at the heart of Harbor Care’s mission. Her professionalism and empathy shine through in everything she does.

An unwavering supporter of the Moral Reconation Therapy (MRT) curriculum, Kari is affectionately known as a “stickler” when it comes to structure and accountability. While her clients may initially balk at her high standards, they consistently grow to appreciate her guidance and the life-changing results it fosters. Many continue to seek her insight and support long after completing the program—a testament to her lasting influence.

Kari’s determination and dedication are a source of inspiration for our entire team. She brings not only therapeutic skill but also humor, empathy, and grounded wisdom to every interaction. We’re incredibly fortunate to have Kari as part of the Harbor Care family and are proud to celebrate her many contributions to the Recovery Court and beyond.

Thank you, Kari, for all that you do!
