Can you take a taxi home after surgery? Yes, you can take a taxi home if you have had procedure with no sedation or anesthesia.

If you received sedation and or anesthesia you can take a taxi home, but only if a responsible adult is with you. Your driver cannot act as your caregiver after your procedure.

Big milestone for NASC 🎉

In collaboration with New Hampshire Orthopaedic Center and performed by Total Joint Specialist, Dr. Andrew Garber we’ve successfully performed our first outpatient direct anterior total hip replacement on March 25th, 2026.

This advancement provides orthopedic care with less pain, faster recovery, and same-day discharge for eligible patients. We’re proud to bring the future of joint replacement to Nashua. 💙

This achievement not only showcases Dr. Garber's expertise and commitment to serving his patients, but it also advances NASC's Total Joint Program, that kicked off late last year, with Dr. Bouvier’s performance of their first Total Shoulder Replacement Surgery.
