Hey guys! Quick announcement:

Next Saturday, April 29th at 11 a.m. I will be hosting a special event to cover the basics of foam rolling – including benefits and proper technique. If you are interested in one of the easiest ways to start reducing muscle tension, improving mobility and accelerating recovery, this one might be for you.

The session will run for approximately 90m during which time we will cover:

* What foam rolling is good for and what it’s not
* Suggestions on how and when to use the foam roller
* Proper technique and intensity
* Addressing specific needs for the individual (Q&A = optional)

This will be a great opportunity to invest in some practical knowledge that will help you level up your self-care routine for a very small investment!

This event is open to members and the general public so, to ensure all attendees get proper attention and instruction, spots are limited. Please reach out as soon as possible for more info or to register. And feel free to share!
Fee is $20/person

Happy Sunday everyone! I am back with a new video demonstrating a great lower body/core exercise. While holding a Club in front of the body, perform a step back lunge transitioning into a seated shin box movement. It’s similar to the descending part of a Turkish Getup. Once you reach the seated position, switch the legs and come back to standing. Alternate each side by stepping back with the other leg. The movement must be done slowly with full control throughout. The hips and obliques will be challenged along with the legs. I would suggest starting with your body weight until you have full control and balance. You can then try this holding a weight in front (like I’ve demonstrated.) I have done this using kettlebells, a Bulgarian bag, medball, sandbag, etc. This is a fantastic mobility and strength exercise that will also challenge your balance.
