Dr. Shawn Wallace is a board-certified family physician at Amherst Family Practice. Dr. Wallace chose family medicine because he loves caring for families, and now he’s doing just that in our community. He enjoys the variety the field offers, from diagnosing and treating to helping patients of all ages prevent illness before it starts.

He sees the patient-provider relationship as a true partnership: “The patient is the player, and the family physician is the coach.” Listening and clear communication are at the heart of his care.

When he’s not seeing patients, you’ll find him at church, hiking, coaching baseball, or cheering on his kids, Claire at dance and Dean on the baseball field, alongside his wife Samantha and their dog Bruno.
