Today Was a Good Day

I had the opportunity to teach a Childbirth Education Class at JC Napier today. We talked about what a doula is and the role we play in supporting mothers through pregnancy, birth, and postpartum.

We covered important topics like:
What to expect during your prenatal visits
Understanding your body and the signs your baby is coming
Creating a birth plan that reflects your wishes
How partners and family can support mom
The emotional and physical benefits of having a doula

It’s always a blessing to pour into moms and help them feel empowered, informed, and supported on this journey to motherhood.

💜 A Message from My Heart

After much prayer and conversation with God, I’ve been asking how I can give back to my community and support our mothers in a real way. Times are hard and uncertain, but one thing remains true — our expecting moms, postpartum moms, and breastfeeding moms need all the love, care, and support they can get.

I know firsthand that having a doula can be life-changing — but it also comes with a cost, and many families right now are facing layoffs or simply don’t have the means. So this is my way of giving back.

Introducing the Alluring Births Village Line — a free support line created to serve and uplift moms and families across Middle Tennessee.
We’ll be here to answer questions, offer encouragement, and provide guidance through pregnancy, birth, postpartum, and breastfeeding.
