If you or someone you love could use free dental, medical or vision care, Ascension Saint Thomas invite you to the Medical Mission at Home event on Saturday, May 9, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Nashville Fairgrounds.

caregivers and volunteers will be on hand to provide care and support, at no cost. Services will be available on a first‍-‍come, first‍-‍served basis. All are welcome, and no insurance, payment, or appointment is needed.

Sam's Caregiver Alliance Group Kindness for Caregivers Day was a HUGE SUCCESS!! 🎉🎉

The Caregivers were glowing after a relaxing facial and massage, enjoyed very funny comedy by Ms. Tiffany Harris, won some wonderful prizes after a few games of Bingo and name drawing, got creative with Art at the Art Station and ended with learning some of the latest and most popular line dances by the 615 Dancers! It was a full and EXCITING event for our Caregivers!!

Today was a great day at the legislature advocating for our Caregivers and pushing for support for the Caring for Caregivers Act.

This act requires the department of disability and aging to establish and administer a family caregiver grant pilot program to provide grants to family caregiver to offset eligible expenditures incurred by the family caregivers. Limits the grant awarded to $6000 per fiscal year. This is income based.
