We want to thank everyone that came out to our first Estate Planning workshop.Thank you Brandy Tomlinson for a wonderful presentation on the different legal documents. 👏🏽👏🏽 Thank you to my volunteers Amiya and my notaries Brandy Tomlinson, Michelle and Evelyn Yeargin for offering their services for free!!

We had a wonderful time sharing stories, resources and educating our fellow caregivers on legal documents.💜💜

Our next meeting will be October 4th From 11:00-1:00pm at the Bordeaux Library and we will have an Elder Law Attorney on site for part two of our Estate planning workshop!

To all my Facebook Caregivers, Family and Friends, I am so excited to announce the next Sam's Caregiver Alliance Group caregiver support group meeting on July 19th from 11:00am-1:00pm at the Bordeaux Library. We are going to include an Estate Planning workshop!!👏🏽👏🏽

We will have Ms. Brandy Tomlinson, a notary trained to educate the community about the importance of Power of Attorneys (POA), Wills, Living Wills etc. We will have notaries onsight for FREE to notarize your POA!! YES FOR FREE!🔥🔥

Please bring your Photo IDs/drivers license or passport. If the ID is expired you will still need it but also bring your Medicaid or Medicare card.

Sam’s Caregiver Alliance Group did our next volunteer event at the Metro Center Teachers Apartments and residents had a ball. They asked when are we coming back.😂💜🙌🏽. We did a soul train line as they walked in the Bingo room, played the Human Fruit Machine, line danced and Humana was there to pass out FREE fruit and vegetables!!🎉💥

I want to say a SPECIAL THANK YOU to my line sisters DITD 51 Deep for volunteering with S**G!! 👏🏽👏🏽 We are celebrating our 25th Line Anniversary this weekend and they decided to do our Service Project with us and I am so grateful! They also help purchase nonperishable items, gift cards and snacks for the residents .🔥👏🏽🔺🐘

We managed to serve over 30 residents with great prizes, fresh produce to help promote a healthy lifestyle, line dances to help with physical mobility and games to help mental stability!!

Had the pleasure of conducting a presentation at Matthew Walker to talk about Sam's Caregiver Alliance Group and our services. One of my board members Tiffany Johnson also was there to talk about Brain Health on behalf of the Alzheimer’s Association. It was a wonderful group, they asked questions and was very engaged with the presentations!! 🙌🏽🙌🏽
