Staying active isn’t about six-packs or PRs anymore—it’s about keeping up with them. 💛

Chasing an 8-month old around means squatting, sprinting, twisting, lifting, and getting back up off the floor about a hundred times a day. Staying active and limber helps me move without aches, recover faster, and actually enjoy the chaos instead of feeling wiped out by it.

Strength keeps me steady. Mobility keeps me pain-free. Endurance keeps me in the game.
Because these little legs are fast… and I plan on keeping up forever!🏃‍♂️👶

🚨 PSA: New Year’s Resolutions = A Surge in Overuse Injuries 🚨

January brings big energy… but also big risk when motivation outpaces movement readiness. We’ve got to be intentional with graded exercise volume!

Before you hit the gym hard next year, know this: the most common injuries we see every new year are entirely preventable.

Here are the Top 5 Most Common Overuse Injuries in Adults:
1️⃣ Shoulder impingement (think pressing, overhead work, or bootcamp burpees)
2️⃣ Runner’s knee (patellofemoral pain syndrome)
3️⃣ Plantar fasciitis
4️⃣ Tennis elbow (lateral epicondylitis) — yes, even if you’ve never picked up a racket

Protein 101: One of my favorite things to talk about!

Here are some quick differences between the three main sources of protein: plant-based protein, whey protein, and animal-based protein

Bottom line: You need more plant-based protein to have the same benefit as whey and animal-based protein, and always strive for at least 1g of protein per pound of ideal body weight (especially if you are an active adult).
