Meet Tobi!

Tobi Nolan is a Certified Trauma Professional and therapist at The Counseling Center at Belle Meade United Methodist Church, offering individual and couples counseling for adults navigating life’s most difficult seasons. Her practice focuses on trauma recovery, grief, anxiety, depression, and the emotional impact of chronic illness and major life transitions.

Tobi brings warmth, curiosity, and creativity into each session. She collaborates closely with clients to help them better understand their internal stories and reclaim a sense of strength and direction. With a background in both law and mental health counseling, Tobi offers a grounded, thoughtful presence for those feeling overwhelmed or stuck. Her work is guided by the belief that each person’s story is a work of art and therapy can help reveal its meaning and possibility.

Our newest addition to the Counseling Center, LLC, Andrew Thompson, M.S., will be presenting at the Tennessee Licensed Professional Counselor Association (TLPCA) Summit on Saturday at 2:00 PM located on the campus of Trevecca Nazarene University. His session, "Using the Family Art Assessment to Creatively Engage Children and their Caregivers in Family Sessions" will explore innovative ways to foster connection and communication through art-based family interventions.

Please welcome our newest therapist, Andrew Thompson to the Counseling Center LLC Team! Andrew joins us as a recent graduate of Lipscomb University where he received his MS in Clinical Mental Health Counseling.

Andrew is seeing clients now at our St. Philip’s Episcopal Church location.
