Teaching asks a lot, and the people who do it don't always get the support that they need.

The hours are long, the emotional weight is real, and for most teachers there's very little room left over by the time the school day ends.

What's even harder to talk about is how long most teachers carry the stress and anxiety of their work before doing anything about it.

The job attracts people who are good at taking care of others, and that same instinct can make it genuinely difficult to turn that care inward.

If teaching has been taking more than it's giving lately, we're here and we're easy to talk to.

A lot of people with anxiety get through the day just fine. It's the moment everything stops that's harder.

For many of us, the the moment we lie down in when our mind shifts into overdrive. There are a number of physiological and psychological reasons for that.

Understanding what's happening makes it easier to do something about it.

Bad therapy experiences are one of the main reasons LGBTQIA+ adults stop going altogether, and that makes sense.

Sitting across from someone who questions your identity instead of helping you work through what you actually came in for is exhausting and, frankly, harmful.

Affirming care skips that part. You don't walk in having to justify who you are.

Our counselors in Nashville are trained specifically to provide that, so the work can start on day one.

Have you found that feeling safe with a therapist made a difference in how much progress you were able to make?

Immigrant women need culturally competent therapy. Carrying everything: marriage, kids, family obligations, and your own sense of self - is exhausting.

And for many Muslim and Arab-American women, asking for help has meant finding a therapist who doesn't really understand their world.

That gap is real, and it keeps a lot of women from getting support they actually need.

If something has felt off and you've been putting off reaching out, this might be the moment to change that.
