Over the last few weeks, I've been planning the Nashville Yule Market with . An artisanal and makers market focused around hand-made goods for the modern mystic.
I remember earlier in the year, after Thomas had been crafting some runes for a friend, looked over at me and said, "I want to host a yule market."
At first I thought there's no way we could manage it, and that we had enough going on! But I love a good challenge. Let's be frank also, I can do anything I put my mind to. Like there is literally nothing we can't achieve. So I said, "let's do it!" and agreed to help birth his vision into reality as his romantic partner, business partner and best friend.
We talked about how cool it would be to have a Yule Market focused on pagan/spiritual and witchy vendors. A place where we can support our friends and build new bonds in the local community. Times are hard, life is hard, but we get to create opportunities for people, and that's beautiful.
I did what I do best: digital marketing, strategy, and event planning from my college days. Our friends at (thanks , you the MVP) came through with a space, our friends offered to vend, and new folks applied!
And I...love it? This has been so fun to plan. From securing vendors, to creating the posts, to running ads to hype the event, everything! All while also trying to craft my own things and vend alongside Thomas!
Our goal is to do 4 markets a year: spring, summer, fall, and winter. Beltane, Midsummer, Samhain, Yule.
