Make plans to join Renewed and Odyssey Behavioral Healthcare for a complimentary CE (NASW, NBCC & TAND) lunch & learn featuring Dr. Danielle Hagood, PsyD!

Attendees will develop an advanced understanding of the complexity of co-occuring eating disorders and substance abuse. Afterwards, attendees will be able to describe specific diagnoses within the categories of Substance Use Disorders and Eating Disorders, discuss the prevalence and comorbidity of the two subset of disorders as well as the potential link between the two, and explain the potential barriers for recovery from individuals suffering from co-occuring SUDs and EDs.

There is an extremely dangerous misconception that an individual needs to be “sick enough” to seek treatment for an eating disorder. Unfortunately this fallacy prevents countless individuals from seeking the support they both need and deserve. If you think that you or someone you know may have an eating disorder, please do not delay treatment. Remember, eating disorders do not have a specific “look.”

Session 11 of BookED begins on 3/19 and we hope you will join us! 📖

BookED is a free program for adult 18+ community members who are interested in being a part of a safe and welcoming space focused on group reading and discussion related to eating disorders and/or body image issues. This program runs by sessions and each session has a book of choice.

Session 11 will be led by and will meet via Zoom from 5:30-6:30pm CST on the following dates: March 19, April 2, 23, May 7, 21, and June 4, 2026.

The book of choice for Session 11 is, “Perfectly Imperfect: Compassionate Strategies to Cultivate a Positive Body Image.”
