Not how we expected the weekend to start…..got to clinic, LP got rescheduled due to her counts being to low, her neutrophils down as well. She has a fever too so hospital bound we are for the weekend. She did get her chemo, platelets and now getting some blood. Praying all is good and cultures come back negative and she can get back home Monday. 🧡🎗️

This morning started really rocky at clinic today, she scared the death outta me, she was weak so I rolled her up to clinic in a wheel chair, where she ended up passing out and was unresponsive. She quickly woke back up, Dr canceled her spinal tap so she got to eat and received blood transfusions due to her hemoglobin belong low and got her scheduled chemo and we’re back home.
Please keep my sweet girl in your prayers 🙏🧡

Got the call I’ve been waiting on since we left Monday, Karlie’s results showed no leukemia cells in neither her spinal fluid or her bone marrow 🙏🙏🙏 The best news!!!! Now on to the next phase of treatment which is more chemo to destroy any undetectable cancer cells that might remain. So back Friday for another LP with chemo and more chemo after that. So she’s in for a long day. I can’t thank everyone enough for all your support and prayers for my sweet girl, we appreciate everyone! 🧡🎗️

My sweet girl just waiting for her lumbar puncture and bone marrow biopsy to get over with so she can get her chicken sandwich. Side note her counts are coming up on their own, it’s the little things that mean the most to us, so she can start feeling better. She made the decision over the weekend to shave her hair. Thank you for the continued prayers! 🧡🎗️

Today we went into clinic to get Karlie’s labs drawn to check her counts to see if she needed any transfusions before her procedures Monday. Well she didn’t need any because they went up on their own so that’s good news. Now we’re hoping the sores go away so she can eat better! 🙏🙏🙏🧡🎗️

Karlie got her scheduled chemo today plus a blood transfusion her hemoglobin was low. We’ll come back next week to check her counts before her next lumbar puncture and bone marrow biopsy and possibly get some platelets. Prayers for her she’s been dealing with sores in her mouth due to the chemo, so it makes it difficult to eat and swallow pills right now.🧡🎗️🙏

Karlie had a check up appt at the diabetes dr due to being on steroids her blood sugars have been high, now she’s been on insulin for a little over a week and her numbers have been better, hopefully soon she’ll be off all insulin. She also had to have lab work done to check her platelet counts, and now we’re at clinic getting a transfusion. Then home bound🧡🎗️
