Waking up this morning, I realized that my 59 years on this earth, having been raised with southern roots and Cherokee influences, have shaped me into the strong woman I am today - a wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and entrepreneur, affectionately known as the Elderberry lady of TN. Receiving third place in the turnip green cooking contest Nashville Farmers' Market as a poignant reminder of my heritage. Having grown up in a family that valued good food, with a father and grandmother who were avid gardeners and cooks, and a mother who shared many of my grandmother's recipes with me, I felt the presence of my loved ones, who have passed on, guiding me. I would like to extend my gratitude to my loyal customers, whose continued support motivates me throughout the year.
