This week's Touch of Chaos: Nine TVs, reversed

It's easy to feel like the work we've done has meant nothing. It is easy to look back on it and wonder what it was all for, especially if we didn't get the outcome we were looking for. The truth is, no work is meaningless. There are still lessons to be learned, even if they aren't immediately apparent. That doesn't make it less frustrating. This week is a lesson in letting go of our perceived work. We tried, and that is just as important. And it's important that we keep trying, regardless of outcome.

This week's Touch of Chaos: Lovers

Coming together in harmony is a beautiful thing, but sometimes it can result in losing a sense of self. Boundaries are more than just healthy, they are necessary. While isolation can feel like safety, it comes with its own problems. This week, try to not get too swept up in promises or excitement. Don't forget to ask questions and think critically. If something feels too good to be true... Well, you get it.

This week's Touch of Chaos: Idiot, reversed

Starting over can be really scary. There's a lot we don't know and the way ahead might feel really hazy. We might feel an impulse to reach for old, but familiar, systems. I'm reminded of that phrase: The devil you know is better than the one you don't. I don't think that's necessarily true, especially not this week. We don't have to go leaping and bounding into the unknown, but we also don't have to be afraid of the new. It might be uncomfortable for awhile, but that doesn't mean it's bad.

Touch of Chaos for November: Ace Money and The End

Beginnings roll into endings and endings beget new beginnings. We have some pretty big choices ahead of us, particularly when it comes to resources and values. This month invites us to consider what needs to end in order to start anew. What do we need to complete or let go of in order to find deeper alignment with our values. And beyond that is the question of finances and access to resources. These things have been treated as synonymous for a long time. The narrative that resources belong to those who deserve them. This month invites us to question that narrative.

Chaos in Review for October:

The biggest lesson of this month was finding the balance between what is important to us, what lights us up, and the practical resources to achieve those things. It was a very put-your-money-where-your-mouth-is kind of month. It was also a month marked by a lack of resources, or more accurately a lack of access to resources. It might have put a microscope on what we can achieve when we don't have the necessary tools. You can't make lemonade if the world isn't even handing you fu***ng lemons. BUT can you make tea from foraged greens? Can you harvest dew drops? What DO you have access to?

Our most common suit was Money, appearing twice. This month focused on resources and practicality. Guns and TVs both appeared once, so our sources of information and entertainment might have played an important part of our progress this month. We had two Major Arcana cards pop up mid-month, both in the reversal. There are some big shifts occurring, and we kind of just have to hold on for the ride.

This week's Touch of Chaos: Gun Woman

This week feels like one big clap-back. People can only take so much. If you keep stretching a rubber band, eventually it will break. If you keep pushing people, they will eventually push back. And that's what this week feels like. We're at the point of one-grievance-too-many. As far as what that means for us, on a personal level: It's a good week to practice some nervous system regulation. We can both acknowledge that things have gone too far and work to react in a level-headed manner. How we react in this is up to us.

This week's Touch of Chaos: Idiot, reversed

Honestly, this feels like decision paralysis more than anything else. I'm generally in the "do your own research" camp, but that implies that you have reliable source material to draw from. There's a lot that we just don't know, and that can lead to feeling like there's no good choice. It's hard to feel a sense of trust when you've experienced misplacing it. This week is about relearning how (and who) to trust. Think of it as recalibrating your internal compass. There's a lot of noise, and the voice of certainty speaks softly.
