✨🌿 Stillness in Surrender 🌿✨
Lately, life has felt like a slow, wordless conversation — one where the signs show up before the answers do.
A slug inside my doorway.
A frog calling through the night.
A flipped turtle, turned upright with care.
Birds gathering in trees, then scattering in silence. Deer intentionally entering my awareness to connect. Hawk friends always near.
I’ve been asking myself what all of it means — and the same phrase keeps echoing back:
“Enjoy the STILLNESS IN SURRENDER.”
Not the stillness of giving up.
Not the surrender of losing power.
But the kind that comes when you finally stop gripping the steering wheel so tight.
When your body remembers what it feels like to be led by trust instead of tension.
And in that space…nature has become the only mirror that makes sense.
Whenever the hum of life gets too loud, I find myself needing to sit with the trees, the stones, the creek — not to figure anything out, but just to recalibrate.
To let the Earth’s rhythm re-tune my nervous system.
To remember how to breathe with the world again.
It’s not easy.
But it’s honest.
And lately, it’s the most real thing I know.
So if you’re in a season of slowness, of soft unraveling and reweaving…
If you feel like the Earth is asking you to listen before you leap…
You’re not alone.
There’s wisdom in the quiet.
There’s medicine in the pause.
There’s a path, even when it feels like you’re not walking one.
🌀Here’s to the ones learning to rest in the in-between. Taking the time to tune in.
Here’s to the stillness that is anything but empty. 🐢🐌🦅🕊️🪶🐦⬛🪺🦌
