Let's start Earth Month with some easy swap suggestions, and one of the simplest is switching from single-use plastic bags to reusable ones. We all know plastic bags are terrible for the planet, so we won't go into the stats here. But we also understand it can be hard to remember to always bring your reusables. Creating new habits can take time, so here are some suggestions:
* Don't just have one or two reusable bags, but have a big stash of them so you can keep some in your car, at home, in your purse, etc. Don't forget to ask other people in your home to keep a couple with them as well. This is a case where "more" is actually better!
• Once you've unloaded groceries, put one or two bags by your door so you remember to carry out to your car next time you leave.
• Don't forget to have reusable bags for produce! But also, you know things like bananas don't need to be put in a bag, right?! :)
• If you find yourself at the grocery without a bag, ask for paper instead of plastic.
Stop by this weekend and get started building up your collection with 20% off with code REUSABLEBAG20.
And, we now have a basket of FREE bags you are welcome to take! (If you have a bunch of these tucked away in a closet somewhere, feel free to bring them by and donate!)
We are all in this together, and even this seemingly small swap MATTERS!
LET'S GO!
