Example: If you’re chasing a 4-hour marathon, this matters. Let’s say you start way up front… ahead of the 4:00 pacer.

In big races, pacers often don’t cross the start line until 2 to 3 minutes after the gun.

So what happens?

You go out fast, settle in, and eventually fall back to the 4:00 group… but now you’re already 2 to 3 minutes ahead of them.

That means if you finish with that pacer group,
your time isn’t 4:00…

It’s 4:02 to 4:03.

Why?

Because pacers run by their chip time, not your chip time.
Their clock starts when THEY cross the start line.

Lesson: Start with your pacer, not ahead of them. Or you’re playing catch-up in reverse.

It turns a solo workout into something that feels a lot more like a group experience.

Just got two new flavors delivered from

Orange Cream & Lemon meringue pie

this particular one, I’m mixing one scoop of the orange cream. One scoop of creatine and some almond milk in my ninja Creami container. Freezing it overnight before I spin it in the machine.

this has been very much a go to for me. Especially the 9 PM craving window.
