Here’s what’s helped me survive family gatherings without feeling miserable or obsessed about food:

• Don’t show up starving
• Prioritize protein first
• Fill half your plate with something lower calorie if possible
• Pick 1-2 things you REALLY want instead of eating everything
• Drink water between plates
• Remember: one meal doesn’t ruin progress, consistency matters more

You can enjoy the memories without turning it into an all-day binge. 🙌
