๐Ÿค Our team joined the rest of TAMHO 2025 in Franklin, TN, where Geoff Ferris and Thilina Achchillage represented MindWise Health as proud sponsors.

Over two days, we connected with behavioral health leaders across Tennessee, discussing the real challenges providers face dailyโ€”from EHR reliability issues to the growing demand for integrated care solutions.

Thank you to TAMHO for creating space for these important conversations. We're energized to continue supporting Tennessee's mental health community.

โœจ As 2025 comes to a close, we're reflecting on what this year taught us about the future of healthcare technology.

The biggest lesson? Healthcare is moving beyond treating illness to building wellness.

When we started expanding into the Whole Health market this year, we saw it as a progressive approach to making America healthy. What we didn't anticipate was just how fast this movement would growโ€”or how ready providers were for tools that go beyond traditional behavioral health.

Here's what we built and learned along the way:

๐Ÿ”ฌ Integration is everything
We developed direct integrations with peripherals like In-Body and Cognivue because practices told us they were tired of juggling disconnected systems. Turns out, when you can pull grip test results, cardio-metabolic data, and cognitive assessments into one platform, care coordination actually works.

๐Ÿค Strategic partnerships accelerate innovation
Our partnership with leaders in the Whole Health Industry pushed us to build a custom platform with an enhanced patient portal. The lesson: the best products come from collaboration, not isolation.

๐Ÿ“Š The math matters
Developing calculations and conversions for whole health index scoring taught us that providers want sophisticated analyticsโ€”but they need them presented simply. Complex backend, simple frontend.

๐ŸŒฑ Whole health isn't a trend, it's a transformation
This isn't just behavioral health anymore. It's comprehensive wellness. And practices that embrace this approach are positioning themselves for the future of value-based care.

Here's to 2026 and continuing to learn from the providers we serve. ๐ŸŽŠ

๐ŸŽ„ The holidays are here, and your practice doesn't have to slow down to keep up.

Three ways to stay organized through the end of the year:

๐ŸŽ Plan your coverage now
Use customized schedule creation and calendar integration to map out who's working when. Your team (and your patients) will thank you for the clarity.

โœจ Prep for the January rush
New year = new benefits = new patient inquiries. Set up your digital intake process now so you're ready when the calls start coming. Easy eligibility checks mean faster onboarding.

๐Ÿ”” Automate the small stuff
Customize your appointment reminders and notifications so nothing falls through the cracks while you're enjoying time with family. Let the system work for you.

The best gift you can give yourself this season? A practice that runs smoothly even when you're not there.

Happy holidays from all of us at MindWise Health! ๐ŸŽ…

๐Ÿ“ˆ 2025 was the year measurement-based care moved from "nice to have" to "need to have" in behavioral health.

The shift is real:
๐Ÿ’ผ Value-based care contracts now routinely include MBC requirements
๐Ÿ“‹ More states are incorporating outcome measures into licensing standards
๐Ÿ’ฌ Patients themselves are asking "how will we know if this is working?"

At MindWise Health, we built for this trend before it became a mandate. Our platform includes over 75 assessments and 28 dedicated measurement-based care assessments - from standard tools like PHQ-9 and GAD-7 to specialized assessments for whole health, cardiometabolic risk, and addiction recovery.

We're seeing diverse applications across our practices:

โค๏ธ Whole health organizations tracking comprehensive wellness metrics beyond traditional mental health scores
๐Ÿง  Counselors monitoring anxiety and depression progress session by session
๐Ÿ”„ Addiction recovery programs measuring outcomes throughout the continuum of care

What they all have in common? They tell us the same thing: it's quicker and easier to assess and track progress when the tools are built directly into their workflow - not bolted on as an afterthought.

โฉ As we head into 2026, the question isn't whether your practice will adopt measurement-based care. It's whether your EHR will make it a seamless part of your workflow.

๐Ÿš€ Starting January 1, 2026, MindWise Health is transforming clinical documentation with AI-powered tools designed to give you more time with your patients.

Here's how it works:

๐Ÿ“ During your session: Our ambient listening feature transcribes the conversation in real-time - no manual note-taking required

๐Ÿค– When you're ready: With one click, AI analyzes the transcript and automatically formats it into your preferred note type - whether that's a SOAP note, preliminary assessment, or any other format you use.

๐Ÿ’ก Smart coding suggestions: The AI reviews the session content and recommends relevant ICD and CPT codes, reducing the guesswork and potential coding errors.

The result? Documentation that used to take 15-20 minutes after each session can now be completed in a fraction of the time - meaning you can see more patients, reduce after-hours charting, or simply get home earlier.

This isn't about replacing clinical judgment. It's about removing the administrative burden so you can focus on what you do best: providing exceptional care.

๐Ÿค What an incredible experience at the Tennessee Counselors Association 2025 Conference!

Our team members Bethany Holton, Mike Golembiewski, and Thilina Achchillage - had the privilege of connecting with Tennessee's counseling community and sharing how MindWise Health is built to support behavioral health providers right here in our home state.

From conversations about streamlining documentation to discussions about Tennessee-specific compliance requirements, it was inspiring to hear directly from counselors about the real challenges they face every day. This is exactly why we built TNWITS functionality directly into our platformโ€”to make compliance seamless for Tennessee practices.

A special thank you to Drs. Tiffany Brooks and Patrick Murphy of Lindsey Wilson University for their exceptional work organizing this conference and for the warm welcome. The Tennessee counseling community's dedication to improving mental health access across our state is truly remarkable.๐Ÿ’ช

If we met you at the conference and you want to continue the conversation, reach out anytime. And if we missed you, we'd still love to connect!

๐Ÿ“Š Measurement-based care isn't just a buzzwordโ€”it's fundamentally changing how behavioral health providers track patient progress.

Here's what MBC actually means for your practice:

Instead of relying solely on clinical observations, providers systematically collect patient-reported outcomes at every visit. Think PHQ-9 scores for depression or GAD-7 for anxiety, tracked over time to show real improvement patterns.

The difference it makes:

Patients see their own progress visualized ๐Ÿ“ˆ
Clinicians catch deterioration before crisis points ๐Ÿšจ
Insurance companies get the outcome data they increasingly require ๐Ÿ“‹
Treatment adjustments happen based on data, not just intuition ๐ŸŽฏ

MindWise Health's platform includes 70+ validated assessments that auto-score and graph trends. Because tracking progress shouldn't mean more paperwork.

๐Ÿข Single location vs. multi-site practices: your EHR needs are completely different

Single location needs:
*Simple user permissions
*Basic reporting
*One-location scheduling
*Standard workflows

Multi-site complexity:
*Who can see records across locations?
*How do traveling clinicians access charts?
*Can you compare location performance?
*Where does telehealth "happen"?

The breaking point: We see practices struggle most when they hit 3-4 locations, where manual coordination breaks down and data silos create operational blind spots.

Key differences that matter:
๐Ÿ“Š Reporting: Location P&L vs. simple revenue tracking
๐Ÿ‘ฅ Staffing: Float pools and coverage vs. fixed schedules
๐Ÿ“ Records: Unified patient database vs. location-based files
๐Ÿ’ฐ Billing: Centralized RCM vs. location-based billing

One-size-fits-all EHRs break at scale. Multi-site practices need architecture built for complexity.

What's your biggest multi-location challenge?

Big news from The Mental Health Marketing Conference! Our VP of Behavioral Health, Geoff Ferris, shared insights on "Using your EHR to Market for you" ๐Ÿ“ˆ

Here's what attendees learned about leveraging EHR technology for practice growth:

๐Ÿ”น How streamlined workflows create more time for patient engagement
๐Ÿ”น Ways to use data analytics for strategic decision-making
๐Ÿ”น Converting operational efficiency into competitive advantages
๐Ÿ”น Building patient satisfaction through better technology experiences

The feedback was incredible! ๐Ÿ™Œ Behavioral health providers are hungry for solutions that work as hard as they do.

Your EHR should be your practice's secret weapon, not just a documentation tool. Ready to discover the difference? Drop us a message! ๐Ÿ’ฌ

MindWise Health VP of Behavioral Health, Geoff Ferris, at The Mental Health Marketing Conference sharing how EHRs can become powerful marketing tools

10/29/2025

Most EHRs offer a handful of basic assessmentsโ€”we built 70+ because mental health isn't basic. โšก

While competitors provide 4-26 standard assessments, MindWise Health offers 70+ validated tools spanning the complete spectrum of behavioral health conditions.

What this depth means for your practice:
๐Ÿง  DSM-5 Level 1 suite for adults, adolescents, and children
๐Ÿ” Specialized assessments for addiction, ADHD, anxiety, autism spectrum, bipolar, depression, eating disorders, OCD, and personality disorders
๐Ÿ“ˆ Measurement-based care with systematic outcome tracking
โš™๏ธ Full customization to match your clinical approach

Generic assessments produce generic insights. When you're treating complex human beings with unique stories and challenges, you need tools that match that complexity.

Your assessment capabilities shouldn't limit your ability to provide comprehensive, personalized care.

Last Month, Nashville's recovery community came together for Hands Across the Bridgeโ€”and the solidarity was powerful. ๐Ÿค

Watching hundreds of people unite on the pedestrian bridge, each representing a life touched by addiction and recovery, reminded me why we do this work. Providers, individuals in recovery, families, advocates, and community partners standing shoulder to shoulder with one simple message: you are not alone.

This event embodies everything we believe about recovery-focused care:

๐ŸŒ‰ Community connection drives healing more than any single intervention
๐Ÿ’ช Shared strength helps people overcome what they can't face alone
๐ŸŽฏ Public solidarity reduces stigma and opens doors to treatment
โค๏ธ Hope visible in the faces of people who've found their way back

As a technology partner to behavioral health providers, events like this ground us in what really matters. Our EHR systems, assessments, and workflows are just tools. The real work happens in moments of human connectionโ€”in therapy rooms, support groups, and bridges filled with people who refuse to let addiction have the final word.

Technology should amplify these connections, not replace them. When we make it easier for providers to focus on relationships instead of paperwork, we're supporting every hand that reached across that bridge.
