Find a need and fill it.

This has been the “mantra” and driving force behind my professional career (and all of my endeavors) and how I try to live my life.

Being a wife and a mother, who also wants to contribute financially to her family, is hard to balance. The reward has to be worth the sacrifice of being away from the home and less available to the family. Flexibility and knowing that I am filling a need, big or small, has made all the difference in being able to sustain that balance.

And let’s not forget the universal law of inevitability that needs will change.
Ours. Our family’s. Our community’s and our world’s. You will need to shift and pivot, find a new way, find a new need that you’re able to fill, but you will always have something to offer.

One constant need?
Support.
And there are so many ways to make an income doing just that.

What is a Doula?

A doula is a trained, non-medical support person who provides physical, emotional, educational and spiritual support to women during major medical events in their life. Those events can include fertility, birth, pregnancy loss, death, etc.
