Last week, Nashville General Hospital had the opportunity to spotlight our Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner (SANE) Program on Local on 2, sharing the importance of trauma-informed, compassionate care for survivors of sexual assault.
As we continue raising awareness, we also invite our community to support our upcoming SANE fundraising events and donate to help strengthen this vital program.
Every contribution helps us continue providing specialized care, advocacy, and support for survivors in our community.
Thank you for helping us support healing, dignity, and compassionate care.

Team NGH was proud to participate in the 2026 March for Babies walk in support of March of Dimes and their mission to improve the health of moms and babies.

Thank you to every staff member, supporter, and community partner who donated, walked alongside us, and helped make this campaign such a success. We are grateful to stand with organizations like March of Dimes as we continue working toward a future where every mom and baby has the opportunity to thrive.

Nashville General Hospital is a steadfast symbol of hope- providing access to affordable, high quality healthcare for all.
We are the original community hospital in Nashville, now the healthcare capital of the United States. Even as Nashville’s growth has skyrocketed, the city is known for its friendly home-town feel, and we embody these same traits. Nashville General Hospital betters the overall health of the city with every patient we care for. We are integral to Nashville’s successful future. A truly great city takes care of its own – regardless of ability to pay.
As your trusted neighbor, Nashville General Hospital is your partner on the path to long term wellness. Our proven chronic care model is designed to keep people healthier at home and in their communities, reducing the amount of in-patient visits. Hope is just around the corner at our facility, which treats every patient—whether on-site for preventative care or a serious illness—with a level of compassion and professionalism that renews your faith in the hospital experience.
For generations, we have taken care of Nashvillians who otherwise would have fallen through the cracks. They continue to count on us, and we are counting on the entire city to help us keep faith with them. Together, we can continue to make Nashville a top city in the country with quality, patient-centered healthcare for all.
We operate a Patient-Centered Medical Home (PCMH) recognized at the highest level by the National Committee for Quality Assurance. Our PCMH ensures a primary care physician is coordinating with the patient, the patient’s larger care network, the patient’s family, and community resources for optimal health outcomes.
