I don’t often share anything about work…
Seeing this post reminded me of how much I love my job, and how grateful I am that my patients make a choice to have me as their doctor! I truly feel that I have one of the best jobs in the world, and much of that is because of the relationship we have with our patients! Not to mention the incredible people I get to work with every day
GET TO KNOW DR. JEFFREY T. HODRICK
Originally from Shamokin, Pennsylvania, Dr. Hodrick earned a B.S. in Biological Anthropology and Anatomy from Duke University, where he played varsity football from 1993 to 1997, serving as captain of the team in 1997. He was named ACC All-Academic in 1996 and 1997, and ACC All-Conference in 1995, 1996 and 1997.
He received his M.D. from Pennsylvania State University College of Medicine and completed his residency at Duke University Medical Center where he received the Duke University Health System Strength Hope and Caring award in 2006. Additionally, Dr. Hodrick completed a Fellowship in Adult Reconstruction at the University of Utah Medical Center in Salt Lake City.
Dr. Hodrick was named a Frist Humanitarian Award winner after he and his nurse created "Crush the Crisis," a drug take back event which grew from a local campaign to an enterprise wide HCA annual event. Along with taking care of his patients, he helps educate orthopedic surgeons on robotic-assisted surgery around the United States and is committed to the WalkStrong Foundation mission work. He also enjoys spending time with his family as well as a good round of golf with his friends.
