Stop rotating your hips during the bird dog! 🛑
When you perform this movement, your hips should be completely locked in. When you let your hips rock side to side, you lose the connection between your glutes and your core, which completely defeats the purpose of the exercise.
We are working with this patient to build a stable foundation so she can lift and move throughout her day without triggering low back pain.
It’s not about how high you lift your leg; it’s about how stable you keep your spine.
