⭐It’s We Show Up Wednesday!⭐ Today, we shine the spotlight on Jasmine in our ED registration at TriStar Southern Hills.

Jasmine is celebrating seven years at Southern Hills. She started as a registrar and was promoted to ED Concierge. She collaborates daily with the clinical team to ensure our patients are registered timely and accurately. Jasmine is great at assessing how much assistance and attention a patient will need. She treats everyone who enters the ED with compassion and respect.💙

Jasmine says, “Although I understand that the ER isn’t a place patients desire to be, I try to make the process as seamless as possible for them. My goal is to create a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere upon entering their room, leaving a positive and lasting impression on them.”

Jasmine is a vital member of the registration team, and we are grateful to have her. Thank you, Jasmine, for your dedication to our patients!

🏆We’re also honored to announce that TriStar Southern Hills has earned the 2026 Healthgrades Patient Safety Excellence Award. This recognition is especially meaningful as it reflects a rigorous evaluation of risk-adjusted complication and mortality rates from approximately 4,500 hospitals nationwide, measured across 13 patient safety indicators (PSIs) — each representing a serious, preventable complication.

If you're 45 or older (or have a family history), talk to your doctor about screening. Many people have no symptoms in the early stages, which is why routine testing is so important. Although highly treatable if detected early, one in 24 people will experience some form of colorectal disease.
