I don’t think I’ve ever stepped away from work this long, and I blame my dad for that.

The work ethic, the stubbornness, the need to keep going even when life gets hard.

As he would’ve said, “That’s what I’m famous for.”

His sudden passing reminded me that there will always be another project, another goal, another reason to stay busy. What I wish for now is one more day with my dad.
